Established in 2016, the Masai Mara Managers Association (MMMA) emerged from a collective of professional Camp Managers dedicated to enhancing the Masai Mara's tourism sector, empowering local communities, and promoting wildlife and environmental conservation.

The Mara Managers Association is dedicated to uniting tourism stakeholders, communities, conservancies, and government entities to advocate for the preservation and responsible management of the Mara ecosystem. Through collaboration, education, and strategic initiatives, we aim to ensure the long-term viability of this iconic landscape."

STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION
Foster cooperation and collaboration among tourism key players, communities, conservancies, and government bodies to address common challenges and opportunities in the Mara ecosystem.

ADVOCACY AND REPRESENTATION
Serve as the unified voice of the Mara ecosystem, advocating for policies and practices that support conservation, sustainable tourism, and community well-being at local, county, and national levels.

SUSTAINABLE TOURISM PROMOTION
Promote responsible tourism practices that minimize environmental impact, respect local cultures, and contribute to the economic empowerment of surrounding communities.

CAPACITY BUILDING
Provide training, resources, and support to enhance the capacity of stakeholders, including local communities and tourism operators, in sustainable natural resource management and conservation practices.

ECOSYSTEM PROTECTION
Implement initiatives aimed at protecting the biodiversity and ecological integrity of the Mara ecosystem, including habitat restoration, anti-poaching efforts, and wildlife monitoring programs.
